No Rain, The Park and Other Things

There was once a time, when I worked outside the home, that a teacher/staff in-service day would send me scrambling for childcare, and later Joeycare, coverage.  Yesterday was such a day, but without the stress and the scurrying.  During the spring-like morning, working on presentation folder designs for a townhouse and apartment complex whose tag line is “… in harmony with nature” it seemed like a great day for a walk in the park. So that is exactly what Joey and I did on the beautiful 60 degree afternoon.  I closed my laptop and we took advantage of one of the unanticipated benefits of working from home.

Joey by the lake.

The walking trail looks much nicer in greener seasons.

Weird tree.

Heading back to the parking lot.

  2. Thanks, Al. Sounds like an interesting press tour that you are on. How long? Have a great time... the cheese curds sound really good.

Whatever you and Sis can suggest to do when we go to NYC will be good. Of course I like shopping, window shopping 5th Avenue, or would love to go to Greenwich Village although it is probably not the same as I remember it. If we had more time... museums. Don't know what Judi is hoping for (probably not a Lilly store). I'll ask her. But no, you don't have to drive us to the Bronx!

    Love, Linny
