The
NJWRG (New Jersey Writers Resource Group) and Laura (the facilitator) have been unbelievably encouraging in what was once a pie-in-the-sky endeavor for me. I do not delude myself into thinking this will bring any measurable semblance of success, but I accomplished one thing – to publish a children's book. Number nine on my bucket list. Jumping in, plodding through multiple revisions, spending hours on the illustrations and following through to the absolute best of my ability has brought a sense of satisfaction for me on this day, in this place and time.
Laura has generously invited me to share a portion of her table at the
Collingswood Book Festival on October 3rd. More firsts! I'm psyched!
