School Welcomes Local Author
Can you believe it? This is me, I'm the "local author." Sorta feels like I don't deserve the title -- but I like it! That is one of the teachers holding the book. Click on the image to enlarge it.
Lin, I have tears in my eyes, about to smudge my mascara. I am so very proud of you. You are making such a difference in opening children's and adults' eyes about autism. Love, Al Aunt Edith, Dut and Uncle Aldo would be so proud!!!!
Thanks, Alice, but you and H. are my writer heroes. You do this for life. I do think it's important to talk about acceptance and individual differences with children, though, and I am grateful to have the chance.
Want to talk soon and plan a springtime thing with Sis. Love, Lin
