The Lord Giveth

Bestowed upon LMGS on this day, the nineteenth of November in the year two thousand and ten, the gift of 24 hours of happiness.

  1. Daughter’s oncologist appointment includes excessive laughter and buoyant mood in conjunction with life-saving doctor and nurse practitioner.  Major medical issues are recorded as trending positive, minor issues still pending.  Frequency of follow-up appointment intervals has been decreased from every month to every other month (said appointments were once necessary every week.)  CBC is awesome: White Blood Cells 5.6 / Hemoglobin 11.5 / Platelets 180 (the highest since stem cell transplant in April 2009).
  2. Blue skies and sunshine.
  3. Excellent fresh turkey selection at the local Shop Rite.
  4. Son’s good time at the annual Thanksgiving dance for special needs adults.  Appreciation of life in observance of differently-abled people dancing and enjoying a sampling of turkey, stuffing, green beans, dinner rolls and cranberry sauce.
  5. Continued good mood spilling over into Saturday.
