Forging Ahead

Settling into what passes for normal after a week of hospital takeover is rewarding (L is home, at least) and overwhelming at the same time.  Having to tackle all the things that were back-burnered when whiling away the hours in medical la-la land – hospital/snail time waiting for tests, results, procedures and watching green-tinted House reruns on the grainy television mounted shakily from the corner of the ceiling in 9104, is comforting in its own way.  It’s good to be home.

But today…
  1. Call and make car appointment – long overdue.
  2. Get Joey off to his program.
  3. Exercise.  Really.
  4. Call mom’s doctor’s office(s) to request prescription changes and reschedule appointment times.
  5. Implement changes to new web site.
  6. Get started on Devereux Fundraiser Program Book.
  7. Start housecleaning – nah, never mind that.
  8. Compose fundraiser 2011 letters.
  9. Laundry, as usual.
  10. Make dinner – a little earlier because I have to drop L off to a 6:30 class.
  11. Pick her up around 9:00.
But the weather is predicted to be mostly sunny/partly cloudy and will reach 52˚, so the sun will shine at some point, and I’ll get done what I get done and there’s always tomorrow.
