I have never been at all interested in participating in team sports. Throughout high school I dreaded phys-ed. Please don’t pick me, please don’t pick me. I was not at all comfortable with the idea of flying projectiles intentionally hurled my way, as in softball, basketball, tennis ball, volleyball, etc. – anything that would be sure to induce physical pain as it struck me due to my lack of athleticism and consequent inability to move out of the way quickly or catch aforementioned airborne missiles. Pointless, team sports were for me. I am however, quite comfortable as a contributing member of a creative team and have, over the years, been happily involved in campaign brainstorming sessions, project plans and doing my arty part in getting a job done well.
Blog Team
It is with great appreciation that I want to thank everyone who took the time to provide an opinion on the development of my new Silver Illustration & Design website. Hell, I appreciate the fact that anyone even reads this blog.
Thank you to Diane and her detailed carefully thought out analysis. To Alice and Kim: professional, valuable input. Alice’s help with the bio, too, intended for a former project, but picked up here. Linda, encouragement, as always. Lori and her blunt opinions. What does a sofa have to do with graphic design? Last but not least, Aunt Ann, with her smarts and sense and experience.
I took something from everyone and I can say that I am much more confident that my new website will be more polished than if I went it alone.
Thanks, team! Almost there.

I likee. I really like the services marching in red across the bottom of the sofa!
ReplyDeleteLin, this is looking good. I still want to read it over very carefully. I just noticed that backyard should be one word [in bio]. i am very proud of you. love, alice
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kim : )
ReplyDeleteHi Al. Yes, please, if you have time, look carefully. I really appreciate it. Little typos like the aforementioned "backyard" could scream at a potential customer and appear unprofessional or careless. I really believe that. Thanks!!!!!! Love, Lin
And I am sure that "back yard" was my typo!
